
New OSB going on over the old 1 by boards
Part of the re-decking process. If the old 1 by boards are not rotten we are able to go right over the top.

Replacing the old rotten decking with fresh OSB
Here you can see where we are meeting the old rotten decking. We are pulling out all the rotten material and laying down new OSB.

Old 1x12 boards
You can see here all the gaps in the boards. This is a common issue on older homes because if the shingles line up correctly you might not get any nails into the wood and are prone to having wind damage or water damage in the future.
